What Solvency is

Solvency publishes estimates of the cost to get a coding task solved by an AI model, computed from published prices and published benchmark pass rates. Every figure carries the date it was verified and a link to its source. The methodology explains every assumption.

What the figures are not

• Not a guarantee. Figures are derived from third-party benchmarks run under specific harnesses and conditions. Your tasks, prompts and harness will produce different costs. A modeled figure rests on stated assumptions; a measured figure is what one benchmark observed on one day.
• Not advice. Nothing on this site is financial, procurement, legal or engineering advice. Decisions you make using it are yours.
• Not current by definition. Prices and benchmarks change. A figure is accurate as of its verified date and may be stale afterwards. Check the source before relying on it.

Solvency is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or its data.

Third-party data

Benchmark results shown on this site belong to their publishers, among them Artificial Analysis, Scale AI and the Aider project, and are cited and linked under their own terms. They are not part of Solvency's open dataset and may not be taken from this site as if they were. Solvency's own pricing compilation is published under CC-BY 4.0 at /data, and only that.

Using the site

• You may read, link to, quote and screenshot the site with attribution to Solvency (solvency.dev).
• You may embed the widget on your own site as long as its attribution stays intact.
• You may not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it, republish it wholesale, remove attribution, or present Solvency's figures as your own or as an endorsement by any model provider.

Accounts

Some features require a free account. Keep your sign-in to yourself, and don't create accounts to evade limits or to abuse the service. Accounts that do may be closed. You can delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. How account data is handled is in the privacy policy.

Solvency Pro billing

Solvency Pro is a paid subscription at $19/month or $190/year, billed in advance. Payment is processed by Stripe; Solvency never receives or stores your card number, security code or full payment details.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled, charged to the payment method on file with Stripe. If Solvency changes Pro's price, current subscribers get at least 30 days' email notice before the new price takes effect. The change applies at your next renewal, never mid-period.

Solvency's free features stay free. Pro adds capabilities on top of the free calculator and Build Composer; it does not take anything away from them.

Cancelling

Cancel any time from the billing portal, linked from your account page. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep Pro access through the end of the period you already paid for.

Refunds

All sales are final. Solvency does not offer refunds, except where required by law.

Taxes

Prices shown exclude tax. Solvency does not collect tax at checkout. You're responsible for any tax your jurisdiction imposes on the purchase.

Unlisted links

An unlisted Build Composer link is a bearer link: anyone who has it can view the immutable plan and quote it identifies until it expires or is revoked. Review the selected version before sharing it, especially if it contains internal harness names, usage assumptions or custom or contract rates. You are responsible for choosing recipients and for revoking a link that was sent to the wrong person or disclosed elsewhere. “Unlisted” does not mean encrypted for a named recipient, and Solvency does not promise that a recipient will keep the link confidential. The URL can appear in browser history and ordinary hosting or security logs, so handle it as sensitive information.

Inactive alert settings

Saving an alert setting does not start monitoring or delivery. Until the product expressly says an alert is active, Solvency will not check the setting on a schedule or send an email or other notification from it. Continue to verify model prices and budgets at their linked sources.

Trademarks

Model and company names are the trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify the products measured. Solvency is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any model provider or benchmark publisher.

Changes

These terms may change; the date at the top is the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Material changes are announced to account holders by email.
